1. About JGT and these terms

JGT operates this online store from Cyprus. In these terms, “JGT”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the seller operating the JGT store. Our business address is Christodoulou Polemiti 1, 8577 Tala, Cyprus. You can contact us through our contact form or by post at that address.

These terms explain the conditions for using our store and buying our products. They should be read with our shipping policy, refund policy and privacy policy. Nothing in them excludes or restricts mandatory consumer rights.

2. Your information and account

Please provide accurate contact, payment and delivery information and keep your account details secure. You must be legally able to make the purchase and authorised to use the payment method supplied. Let us know promptly if you believe someone has used your account without permission.

3. Products and second-hand condition

JGT sells books, electronics and collectibles, including second-hand and individual items. The product listing describes the item's condition, included accessories and any stated edition or other identifying details. Please read the listing before ordering and ask us if you need more information.

Pre-owned goods may show the wear described in their listing. Product descriptions and representations form part of the purchase; selling an item as second-hand does not remove its applicable legal guarantees. Screen settings may affect how photographs appear, but this does not excuse a material difference from the description.

4. Orders, prices and payment

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. We send an acknowledgement after the order is placed. Unless we expressly accept it earlier, the purchase contract is formed when we send the dispatch confirmation.

The product price, applicable taxes, delivery charge and total payable to JGT are shown before you complete checkout. Payment must be confirmed before dispatch. Any import charges not collected at checkout are explained in our shipping policy.

If a product is unavailable or an error affects your order, we will contact you. We will not substitute an item or increase the agreed price without your agreement. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will promptly refund any payment received for it.

Price or listing changes made later do not change an already accepted order. Cancellation and withdrawal rights continue to apply as set out in our refund policy and applicable law.

5. Shipping and delivery

Our normal dispatch period is 3–6 working days after payment confirmation. Carrier delivery time is additional. We welcome international orders where delivery is available, with the customer paying the delivery fee agreed before purchase. Please see the shipping options at checkout or contact us for a quote if your address is not available.

Our shipping policy explains delivery timing, charges and international arrangements. Where JGT arranges the carrier, the risk of loss or damage stays with JGT until you or your nominated recipient takes physical possession.

6. Returns, cancellations and legal guarantees

Our refund policy explains the 14-day change-of-mind notification period, how to return goods and how refunds are made. You can start a return or cancel an order through your customer account, or contact us directly. Statutory withdrawal does not depend on our prior approval.

Consumers benefit from applicable legal guarantees for faulty or misdescribed goods, including second-hand goods. For EU consumer purchases, this includes at least the applicable two-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery. Depending on the circumstances, remedies include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund, without charge where required by law. Our full-refund offer for defective items is set out in the refund policy.

The short change-of-mind return period does not replace or shorten those legal guarantees. Any longer or additional mandatory protection that applies to your purchase is preserved.

7. Shopify and other providers

Shopify supplies the commerce platform used by JGT. Purchases from this store are made with JGT as the seller. Shopify and other service providers may process information to operate the store and fulfil orders, as explained in our privacy policy and their applicable privacy notices.

Links to third-party websites do not make those websites part of JGT. Please review the relevant provider's terms when choosing a separate third-party service. This does not reduce our responsibility for the sale of products you buy from JGT or any provider's liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Website use and content

Please use the store lawfully. Do not misuse another person's information, make fraudulent orders, interfere with the store's security or infringe another person's rights. We may take proportionate steps to restrict misuse, without removing rights relating to a legitimate existing purchase.

Rights in the store's branding, text, photographs and other content remain with JGT or their respective owners and licensors. You may use the store to browse, enquire and shop. Other use requires the rights holder's permission unless permitted by law.

9. Responsibility, complaints and applicable law

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or any mandatory responsibility for defective products. JGT remains responsible for losses and remedies for which applicable law makes us responsible.

If you have a complaint, use our contact form or write to our business address, providing your order number and the issue you would like us to resolve.

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law that otherwise applies to your purchase, or of your right to bring a claim in any court available to you under applicable consumer law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will show the latest revision date on this page. Changes apply to future orders; the terms in force when your purchase contract was made continue to apply to that purchase unless the law requires otherwise. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest continues to apply to the extent permitted by law.
